BBQ Pork Spare Ribs with YIAH Nomad Meat Rub and YIAH Caramelized BV

Last night I cooked pork spare ribs made with YIAH Nomad Meat Rub and YIAH Caramelized Balsamic Vinegar. It was an amazing meal!

I gently boiled the ribs with sliced onions in just enough water to cover for about an hour and 15 minutes. I then drained the ribs and rubbed them all over with Nomad Meat Rub. I cooked them on medium low heat on the BBQ while basting them from time to time with Caramelized BV and turning them frequently. They were sooo good!! Sabah Laksa Prawn Salad

Last night’s supper on a beautiful warm summer night was Sabah Laksa Prawn Salad. I marinated cooked jumbo prawns in Coconut Mango Lime Balsamic Vinegar and Sabah Laksa Dip Mix. After half an hour I added chopped tomatoes and some whole egg mayonnaise. This was served on a bed of spinach leaves and we had a baguette to soak up any remains. It was absolutely delicious.

BBQ Pork Tenderloin

This is a really delicious meal. First brush the pork tenderloin with Kashba Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) and rub all surfaces with Nomad Meat Rub. After an hour, barbecue the tenderlion on low heat turning frequently for 30 mins. For the last 5 mins brush all sides with Caramelized Balsamised Vinegar (BV).

With this, I served little potatoes pressure cooked then sautéed lightly with Kashba EVOO and sprinkled with Baba Ghanoush Dip Mix. This was complemented by small tomato halves sprinkled with Saffron Salt, Chai Shiraz Smoked Four PepperCorn Blend and Tomato and Herb Dip Mix. These were baked at 350F for about 30 mins and then drizzled with Caramelized BV. Here below you can see the result.

Recipe for Rogan Josh Chicken

I cooked this Rogan Josh Chicken for the Abbotsford, BC Road Show when the Your Inspiration At Home CEO and Spice Curator, Colleen Walters, met with consultants and friends on June 9, 2016. It was highly enjoyed by all.

Rogan josh (or roghan josh) is a staple of Kashmiri cuisine and is one of the main dishes of the Kashmiri multi-course meal (the “Wazwan”). It is traditionally made with lamb but is equally good with chicken. Here is a somewhat steamy image as the dish was finally ready.

BBQ Greek Chicken Breasts and Greek Salad

I wanted a taste of Greece so my meal had to include a Greek Salad.  The Greek Salad dressing was made with Your Inspiration at Home Greek Taverna Spice Blend, YIAH Intense Garlic EVOO, YIAH Lime and Cracked Pepper Specialty Salt and fresh lemon juice.  The chicken breasts were first marinated in YIAH Mediterrean EVOO and Greek Taverna Spice Blend and then barbequed.  The whole meal turned out to be amazing!! BBQ Pork Chops

I seasoned my BBQ pork chops  with a touch of Your Inspiration at Home Asian EVOO and YIAH Australian Outback Coffee Meat Rub.   Once you’ve learned how to barbecue pork chops you’ll find them always juicy and tender.

The vegetable for this meal was steamed broccoli with YIAH Lime Cracked Pepper and the roasted cubed potatoes cooked in the oven were mixed with YIAH Asian EVOO and YIAH Country Onion and Chive dip mix.  Another great meal to remember. Continue reading “BBQ Pork Chops”

Jamaican Jerk Pork Tenderloin and Seasoned Roast Potatoes
